Gobi Heat - a heated jacket company based out of Fort Collins, CO - contacted me with a need for lifestyle photos based around their heated jackets and accessories. Based on their needs, we decided to split the shoot into two half days: day one centered around workwear, and day two focused on hunting and hunting lifestyle. Gobi wanted to showcase hunters in a realistic environment using their products in a natural way, so we chose a forested location a few hours south of Boulder. We also elected to use real hunters as talent so that they would be comfortable and safe with weapons. On the day of, we again used supplemental lighting to help combat the dramatic contrast of the mid-day sun. These are the final selects from day two.
